Driftwood: On the shores of the Indian Ocean, at the edge of the ancient settlement of Malindi lies The Driftwood, nestled into the Kenyan coast, with a charm all of its own. As a small and privately owned hotel, we have particularly enjoyed developing a sense of warmth and familiarity that sees our guests returning time and again.
We like to keep things small and can accommodate just 70 guests in our cottages and villas, which are constructed in the traditional coastal style and brought up to date with air conditioning and other modern amenities. All the accommodation has been designed to maximise privacy, whilst being close to the open-air bar and dining area and within just a few feet of our pool, private beach and the blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
